Lyrics

there was a funnel in the clouds babe
I saw the writing on the wall
you and I were running all around around babe
and neither one of us could call
i dug a tunnel underground babe
i made a celing and wall
i told you don't you make a sound babe
and hoped the celing wouldn't fall
it was cosy   down there
we made frieds with the worms
and i remeber you said you felt safe
we kept on digging till the sound babe
of the world above was far away
and even though there was no one else around babe
we still found lots of stuff to say
we kept on digging through the ground babe
we found ourselves along the way
and I remember somewhere in the ground babe
we remebered how to pray
God, in his infinite mercy and wisdom gave us a baby girl
and then one day, he told us it was OK to go back
we crawled back up towards the groud babe
on dirty elbows hands and knees
the wall stuck firm and true around babe
of this small mercy we were pleased
we stcuk our heads above the ground babe
the light reduced us both to tears
we were the only ones around babe
beneath the music
of the spheres

One of the most beautiful lyrics that have blessed these ears with their sound. A song that I will forever come back to and will forever hold weight in my life.
