So I’d just finished mixing the next track to drop from that Unkillable Thunderchrist, and was posting Bill Hicks’ banned David Letterman performance, when there was a rat tat tat tat at my door, and who was there but a flipping BEARDED DR AARON SHRIMPTON! You know, the guy that directed this:

…amongst other mighty Don smashes (go look in the video section and bathe in glory). He’d dropped by to chat about our next mighty artworks, of whihc I will say precisely FUCK ALL… except one word and that word is HOMERIC. And if you remember, HOMERIC is the new word for EPIC. So there. Anyway, alongside discussing the aforementioned NEXT SHIT, Dr Shrimpton wanted to show me this new video he’s made for Newham General and grime legend Footsie. I won’t say anything about that either, but you can listen to a radio rip of the track right now, and try and imagine what the hell Aaron imagined when he heard it then picture that…

Anyway, Aaron and I ducked round the corner to the Hackney Pearl for some drinks and some creative ranting, and somehow that lead to Footsie driving over to Don Studios IV, whereupon I played him some beats from that Unkillable Thunderchrist, and he loved them, what with them being fucking mighty and all, so if you’re a lucky human you might just have a legendary grime emcee popping up on your new favourite record.
