ATD24 is a 40 minute LP comprising of recordings made in a 24 hour period between 5am June 23rd a 5am June 24th. I, Akira The Don manned the studio throughout (apart from a ten minute period when I went for a walk around the block and dropped my house keys in the recycling bin), produced a dozen songs and ate around 8 bananas.

Now, after a week in the wilderness with brain-melting tinnitus, I return with our Great Works, the outcome of that strange and crazy summer’s day, in the shadow of the 2012 Olympic Grounds (where we will soon welcome out brave Martian forefathers with open arms and streaming cheeks), where twenty four (24) brave men and women came from all over the world to create a body of work that will outlive them all.

      So FIRE has been polished up and I love but there is a sample towards the end during the hook and I know I know what it is but I can’t name it! it’s driving me crazy! Please tell me. I’ve played it at least a dozen times and i still can’t figure it out. Fantastic work btw. I will be blasting this all 4th of July weekend! Party Party Party!

    Is there any way I could get some help with this. I’d love to get the album, but there really is no point in having it if I can’t play it. I do not have a .rar player, and everything dealing with rar files I have to pay for. I’ve had trouble with this in the past and don’t really have a budget for something I’m not going to use often. The last time I had money enough I DID use it on the omega sanction and your superhero album which had not come out yet. As long as rar files aren’t the way to go I won’t be getting a player and hope to be able to purchase your albums in the future. I ‘ll be checking back later for a reply. Thank you in advance for your patronage.

      Hey, I use this —> http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm. It is called winrar and it has a free trial period that to my knowledge lasts FOREVER.

      As an aside, you don’t actually play rar files, what they do is keep all of those mp3 files into one little bundle so you don’t have to download each track individually.

      So go ahead and download winrar, download Akira’s handy dandy track separated rar, extract the files and then play them with your media player of choice.

    Dude, what file type is this? I just bought it and my com doesn’t know what type it is. It plays on vlc player, but plays the tracks in a strange way. Goes 1/ 10, 11, 12 etc.

    There’s only one file to, is this right?

          Just checked it, seems fine to me, but I have reupped anyway and checked again, and it is def cool. Might have gotten corrupted during the download, try again and extract with Winrar, that’s very good at extracting…

    I had atd24 on my pc but I can’t find it and I remember it was free to download before but now its not. I hate to be a cheap bastard but I’ve bought a few other albums in the past and wanted to listen to this one lately.
