The Kidnapping Of Akira The Don By Joey2tits
started out life as ATD25, a mixtape, but grew into an album of its own volition. Each track is an original production by the boy wonder Joey2tits. It was recorded between the August and November of 2010, and much of it was written on my girlfriend’s bicycle, which has suspension, and very little in the way of brakes by this point.

Joey thanks:

a. bainbridge for the artwork
j. harrison & t. gibson for staying up late
z. narkiewicz for the design
l. dwyer hogg for the singing.

DON thanks:

Joey for the BEATS
Zef for the SITE

This is laaarge mayne. It’s a perfect example of what people don’t seem to realise – that it all it takes to do something is to simply fucking do it. You decided to make an album, & lo you did. Available to be shared with the world! I particularly like Dwelling in Dystopia & Non-Fiction – I’d like to put out a proposal of marriage to the lady that sings the hook on the latter. Heck, even if it’s a pitch-altered man.

After a few listens I can say that I really dig your third album and the new and somewhat unexpected direction you take in it. Non-Fiction and People Like Us are just plain awesome and Living In The Future 2 is nearly as good as the first. I’m pretty sure I’ve got my nostalgia goggles on a little tight when I say that too. Any word on when we can expect to get our hands on your second album though?

    THIS IS DON-BEASTLY.

Love it. Every track is a little bit of heaven man. You already know how I feel about LITF2 XD, but OMG currently this album is all I’ve listened everyday since you dropped it. I don’t even think I have a favorite track. Heck, 3 year old sister’s singing along to it too.
