Nomad Don is doing the final mixes in Nain’s artroom in Abergelle. We drove up the coast from South to North yesterday. It was beautiful. We stopped to enjoy it. The hungry sea tried to swallow me.
Nomad Dons continue to travel the British Isles, still technically homeless, visiting family and working on the next thing. We spent a sweet long weekend with The Velkys of Pembrokeshire, where Hercules played with his little two year old cousin Sibyl and I soothed a weeping couple month old Fury Velky with the gift of free association rhyme song. Myself and my little brother Alex played a lot of Carcassonne. I didn’t win once, but I came close a few times, which was plenty for me.
Here’s Alex with his two girls and my one boy:
Today we are in Abergelle with Nain and Taid. They are full of rare wisdoms at dinner time. I just heard of how their neighbours’ budgie got chlamydia, gave it to a load of girl budgies, then died.
IT’S A COLD WORLD.
Nearly done. Drops in March.
Nearly ten years since my first EP.
One last Long Player before I die, and am hopefully reborn in the ancient Egyptian manner.
It’s been a beautiful thing, this ten year adventure.
LONG LIVE THE DON.
