I Love Living In The Future Baby!

Ladies and gentlemen! Drum roll please! That, up there, all shiny and glad, is the T-Shirt you’re gonna get with the Living In The Future compilation!

OMFG!

It is so beautiful. Screen printed by hand in glamorous Hommerton on charcoal coloured superior quality Gildan Super Soft cotton. It is the first offical item of Living In The Future clothing. It’s gonna have it’s own label in it and everything. Look at the label!

OMFG, I would marry that label were I not already betrothed to a LADY. And look at the logo in the context of all those other logos? How superior is that logo? OH MY GOD I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THAT LOGO! It is perfect! It succinctly and beautifully sums up my vision for the whole thing. Thats what Living In The Future is all about, having a big fucking ring around the world and it being normal.

GO GET THAT GREAT STUFF!

All praises due to my genius brother  Zef, naturally.

And me, obviously, for I am the king of this thing.

BWA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!

So, more good news: I found Wonchop! Those of you that observe The Channels might have noticed me sreaching them for him lately, with increasing desperation, as he is, as you might recal, supposed to be working on the slavishly anticipated Living In The Future 2 video. Well, I tracked him down, via ancient technology, and he is BACK ON IT and I couldn’t be happier. So to celebrate, I shall share with you some of his awesome concept sketches, so you can bask in their sketchy glory and get excited about the final creation.

Whoo! Hype, non? Hype yes. So you go and preorder your music and your amazing Living In The Future clothing (be speedy, for you will notice the price has increased slightly, and it may again, labels and super silky cotton ain’t cheap), and I shall get on with The Work.

PAX!

…wow! It’s got Svalbard on it! Awesome t-shirt….

      What’s Svalbard?!

      • http://twitter.com/RaydomeGrimm Aidan Graham

Svalbard is where the talking Polar Bears live! They have armour and battle, they’re are rough bears!

        • http://twitter.com/AlexanderVelky Alexander Velky

          It also has Nova Zembla

      • http://twitter.com/ZenPyramid ZenPyramid

…aye, talking bears in armour, from ‘His Dark Materials’, which was re branded as ‘The Golden Cum-pass’ by Hollywood. It’s the slightly asterisk like looking blob to the North of Norway. Although at the moment there’s nothing more exciting than ‘Prince’ Harry there. Who incidentally, is looking increasing less and less like a Windsor as time goes by! Funny that innit?

Now, if Prince William should meet a sticky end without progeny, then the so called ‘Prince’ Harry would inherit the throne. Soon enough, someone’ll get a sample, and then it’ll be official. He’s the bastard son of one of his lonely mothers lovers, and he’s on the throne! Awesome…

I’ve only read the trilogy, never bothered with the film, thought it looks a bit rubbish, and heard it misses out a lot of story and detial. Plus I doubt the bear fight could live up to what I’ve got pictured in my head =>

          • http://twitter.com/ZenPyramid ZenPyramid

…actually, the bears were the best thing in it, and rather well handled. And the fight itself was well portrayed, but everything else was indeed rubbish, and left one wondering how the hell (pun intended) they were gonna tell the rest of the story having removed the whole anti-religious/ God etc storyline from the plot. Bit like trying to tell ‘Animal Farm’ without farmers. Doesn’t make any sense.

As it goes, they never made the sequel (thank The Authority), which shows you quite how far up their own arseholes they’d written themselves.

Had the pleasure of (re)reading the books to my children at one point. Very educational…

          • http://twitter.com/AlexanderVelky Alexander Velky

They ain’t going to tell the rest. It got vetoed by (guess who?) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Golden_Compass_(film)#Sequels

They’re great books, I think the sublte knife is the best.

I’ll probably end up watching the film one day just to see what it’s like. I heard the director or producer is adamant that she’s going to make the other books into films, New Line don’t want to do the rest because it didn’t make enough money for them.

Changing the story that much doesn’t make sense at all, you can’t have it without original sin! Sounds as bad as what the did to Dragonball!

Nice T, I’ll be rockin it soon as I get it => If I get it by the 22nd I’ll be taking it to Gza!

Oh man, um. I think you’re better than this logo. But, y’know, it’s here now so…

  • VJK

I really like the logo. Logos are probably one of the hardest form of artistry (ask Don Draper). I think it does well to sum up a complex idea in a single symbol.

SWAG. I was holding off until I saw the design, this shit is stylish. Plus the phrase “Living in the future, baby” has made it’s way into my everyday conversations since LITF2 dropped. Consider this motherfucker pre-ordered.
