Word up brothers and sisters! So, with Manga Music fresh out the can, I’m gonna break down some of the songs for you.

First up, Golgo 13, AKA I INVENTED THE INTERNET!

I love this song. It was the first beat I produced in Logic. Super minimal house music. Based around a tiny bit of really bad quality VCR ripped audio from Golgo 13. I rapped the fuck out of it. Then I crooned the fuck out of it after smoking a fistful of diesel. That was so choice. I zoned the fuck out and sang like an old lady putting the washing out.

I started writing the verse in my head in a an old diner by a canal in east London that had been shipped from New York while my wife was in the bathroom. It was shipped in the 60s, not while my wife was in the bathroom. I was writing while my wife was in the bathroom. Got it? OK. There is a purity and truth in those opening bars I considered saving for LP3, because they are so pure and so true, but fuck it, I thought, it is righteous that they appear in this context for this illegal mixtape sampling shit is that shit I was talking about. And here I am, 7 years later, still pushing things forward. Did you check that Youtube mixtape player? Have you seen one of those before? Right. that shit took me two days. Pow.
