LISTEN: Adam WarRock ft. Tribe One – The Silver Age

The guy on the second verse isn’t REALLY slagging off rap music and claiming to have come up with this amazing new idea to combine “golden age” hip-hop and silver age comics is he?! Cos that would be mental, considering that rap pretty much started out by meshing silver age comics with, um, rap. I must be misinterpreting.

Anyway, there’s some tight-ass delivery on this joint, and I’ll be checking for more of these guys stuff. Pow.

There's a choice in life. Either you a) make rap songs about comics or b) take yourself extremely seriously. These guys seem to think you can do both.

You can do both. Akira did an entire album of comic inspired songs as well and he takes himself seriously as a musician. Plus with something that catchy it is hard not to like it.

On another note for superhero based rap, I am pretty into this song http://blackwolf.bandcamp.com/track/spiderbite
(akira could probably do a mixtape mixtape of just other peoples nonremixed superhero mix)
